Absolute Painting

Built on Integrity & Experience

We started this business to offer something simple and rare: fair pricing, honest work, and respect for every home we paint. Our values — integrity, honesty, and craftsmanship — guide everything we do, from the first quote to the final brushstroke.

Painting Services Done Right

We specialise in interior and exterior painting for homes and small businesses — including walls, ceilings, trims, and feature finishes. We also offer surface preparation, patching, and minor repairs to ensure every job starts and ends right. We don’t cut corners, and we’ll always give clear, honest advice about what can and can’t be done. (We don’t offer wallpapering or large commercial work at this stage.)

Proudly Local, Always Fair

Based in the West Tamar region, we service Launceston, Legana, George Town, and surrounding areas. We keep our team small and our overheads even smaller — so our clients enjoy affordable painting services without compromising on quality. We don’t have a showroom, and we don’t need one — our work speaks for itself, on every wall and every finish.

Our Services

Interior Painting

Transform your living spaces with a clean, fresh coat of paint. We handle walls, ceilings, trims, doors, and feature walls — using high-quality paints and careful preparation to ensure a smooth, lasting finish. Whether it’s one room or an entire home, we work neatly and efficiently, respecting your space from start to finish.

Exterior Painting

Protect and refresh your home’s exterior with durable, weather-resistant paint. From weatherboards and rendered walls to fences and decks, we use premium products suited to Tasmania’s conditions. Our focus is on thorough preparation, strong adhesion, and a finish that stands up to time and the elements.

Repaints & Renovations

If your home needs a refresh, we specialise in bringing tired spaces back to life. We handle patching, sanding, and colour matching to restore your walls to their best. Perfect for renovations, rentals, or preparing your property for sale — our repainting service delivers professional results without the stress.

Small Repairs & Surface Preparation

Great painting starts with great preparation. We take care of surface cleaning, filling cracks, sanding, and minor plaster repairs before any paint goes on. This ensures a smooth, even result and a finish that lasts longer — because the details matter.
